A new era of SFP. Brand new content, the only legancy is the name and the ambition to bring the most of Swedish armed forces into Arma. Our first release covers the basic infantry squad of 1989-1992 era and much more content is planned.
The Swedish Forces Pack for Arma 3 features more than 30 different sea, air, and land vehicles, as well as a large assortment of weapons ranging from rifles, pistols, and disposable AT-launchers to heavy SAM systems and artillery guns.
Also part of the package are modules for Anti-submarine Warfare, setting Unit Insignia and vehicle ID, as well as spawners for cluster bombs and anti-ship missiles for use by a Zeus game master.
Everything is of course compatible with CBA A3, ACE3, ALiVE, and your favourite radio addon.
Also available are JSRS compatibility addons for that extra immersive sound.
This is a tribute to the orginal FDF mod for Operation Flashpoint. One of the best (if not the best) mod ever made for the Ofp/ArmA series.
As there were a severe lack of Finnish content for Arma 3 the SFP team decided to fill that gap.
The Finnish Forces Pack started as a side project, but who knows where we will end up.
This pack adds more than 100 military map symbols based on those used by the Swedish Armed Forces.
This pack includes a large number of common Scandinavian objects, and almost 100 types of houses ranging from civilian duplexes to military installations. Used primarily for Swedish Forces Pack terrains.
Sturkö is an island in Blekinge, near one of Swedens largest naval bases, Karlskrona.
On the 27 October 1981 at approximatly 20.00, a Soviet submarine ran aground on a skerry in Gåsefjärden, directly east of Sturkö and just 10km from Karlskrona.
The Soviets sent a "rescue" party while the Swedish prime minister Thorbjörn Fälldin gave the order to "Hold the border", instructing the Swedish Armed Forces to shoot if any Soviet ships crossed into Swedish waters.
Eventually, after a few days, the submarine was salvaged and handed over to the Soviets in international waters, effectively ending the crisis.
